I'm about to start "Rot & Ruin" and I've read "Forest of hands and teeth". I was disappointed in FOHT, as I expected it to be more adventurous. It was very scary, so I'll give it that!

That would be a lot of pages to cover by the end of December. Fortunately, we're not THAT extreme! The winter reading program runs through Jan 31 (hope I put in the correct date...) Still a lot to read, but that might help. :)

Have you read White Cat or the Tithe series, Susan? I've read the Good Neighbors graphic novel series and enjoyed the gothic artwork and storyline.

It's an interesting concept! I just wish there had been more details about the prison--not much was explained. Maybe in the sequel? Haven't gotten to it yet. :) But it was an entertaining page-turner.

I loved LL&P...and I'm not a teen. It was romantic, but also dealt with the struggles of what happens when it's time to move beyond that first instant attraction. It also has a great message for young women--you can be devoted to your guy, but still be true to yourself and your life. It's on my list to buy for my daughters.

I agree with you Iulia. Any book worth its salt is bound to get challenged, and it probably pleases the author too. I would love for one of my books to be challenged and then have it be known as "a book to read", haha.
